Display the File Extensions in Finder

Compatible with Mac OS X: 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8
File extensions (.jpg, .txt, .pdf, etc) are hidden by default in OS X.
You can set all extensions to be displayed through using following command:

To make the command take effect, you need to restart the Finder.

Revert to the default setting:

Resart Finder
